No Focusmates Needed
Quiet day. Not exciting, but good — the kind of good that's easy to overlook if you're not paying attention.
I woke up early and just... wanted to work. No Focusmates needed, no accountability structure required. Just me and the thing I was building. I got a lot of systems set up, made some real improvements, and I'm grateful for that. It's a small thing, but those are the days that actually add up.
Other than that, today was pretty uneventful. 😌
Played with Jordan's nephew for a few minutes — kids are funny, they just want you to be present, and then they're done with you and onto something else. Honestly a little refreshing.
Then D&D. 🎲
My group started, so I joined and worked while the session was going. And I actually played my character better this time — like, genuinely engaged with the story, not just kind of vibing in the background. I have Eitan to thank for that lol. That call we had a few weeks back actually clicked something into place. I know what I'm doing now.
On the game side: I worked out the daily reward system, reworked the shell store, and fixed some bugs with the romance gameplay. Solid progress. 🏗️
Also — I'm on track to use up all my Claude tokens this week, which, after last week's lessons learned, I'm choosing to read as a good sign. I'm actually building things. That's the point.
Okay day. Grateful for it. 🙂
