A Good Day, in a Weird Shape
Overall, it was a good day. 🌤️
I spent a lot of time working on my new website — this website — and trying to use up the rest of this week's Claude Pro token allowance before it expires tomorrow at 3:30 PM. I ended up using 91% of it, which honestly feels satisfying. Like yes, let me extract the full value of my robot son. 🤖
I also did an overhaul of the Historical Figures MBTI website, which felt good too. So in that sense, the day had a strong current of momentum. Tangible progress. Real output. The kind of work that makes me feel like I'm actually building something. 🏗️
Later in the evening, Jordan and I watched Project Hail Mary, and damn — what a good movie. 🎬
It was so emotional. Funny, moving, unexpected in all the right ways. I already made a whole review about it, but I keep thinking about how well it balanced humor with heart. And Ryan Gosling is such a good actor, as always.
I do wonder what his MBTI type is. He feels like he could be an ENFP. 🌀
Then, later that night, I somehow ended up trying to figure out an "abs by July" plan — very late, like 1 AM late. 💪
And when I came back, Jordan's wifi was out, so I started playing Dominion on my phone since it didn't need internet… and kind of wasted a lot of time there.
One of those little detours that doesn't feel dangerous in the moment, and then suddenly it's eaten hours of your life. 🃏⏳
I ended up sleeping at 5:30 AM. 🌙
So yeah. Overall, a weird day. But not a bad one.
In fact, a pretty good one — just in a slightly chaotic form.
There was progress, creativity, laughter, emotional resonance, and then also late-night nonsense and questionable decisions.
Which, honestly, is a very human combination. ✨
